BRITISH DESIGNERS’ COLLECTIVE MENSWEAR BOUTIQUE CURATED BY BRITISH GQ AT BICESTER VILLAGE

On Thursday 18 September, Sam Clafin, Ed Speleers, Allen Leech, Rick Edwards, Finn Jones, Dylan Jones, Caroline Rush, Desiree Bollier and Eliza Bonham Carter attended the official opening of The British Designers’ Collective Menswear pop-up boutique at Bicester Village. Curated by GQ,  and in celebration of London Collections: Men, the boutique features the work of designers including Jonathan Saunders, Agi & Sam, Lou Dalton, James Long, Oliver Spencer, Kit Neale, Christopher Raeburn, Katie Eary, Casely-Hayford, Sibling, A Sauvage, Hentsch Man, U-Clothing, Hunter Gather and Alan Taylor, along with shoe designers Nicholas Kirkwood, Mr Hare and Grenson. This spectacular line-up has been curated by Robert Johnston, Associate Editor and Style Shrink of British GQ.

Following on from its successful collaboration with the Keeper’s House at the Royal Academy of Arts for the women’s boutique, which was open in Bicester Village from 21 May to 17 August, the menswear boutique also features the work of artists from the Academy alongside the fashion collections. Exclusively for the menswear boutique, a new range of limited edition prints by Royal Academicians Mali Morris, Humphrey Ocean, Chris Orr and Bob & Roberta Smith, as well as artists Guler Ates, Derek Boshier, Blue Firth, Liane Lang, Simon Lawson, Danny Rolph and Prem Sahib will be available for guests to purchase. The Keeper’s House is the new home for artists and art lovers in the heart of Mayfair, and provided inspiration for this year’s boutique.

Guests to the boutique can become a Friend of the RA for only £97 and enjoy a year of free entry to RA exhibitions, including Dennis Hopper: The Lost Album, Anselm Kiefer and Rubens and his Legacy: Van Gogh to Cézanne. Friends can take an adult family guest to each exhibition for free, have all day access to the Keeper’s House lounges, restaurant, cocktail bar and garden.

The British Designers’ Collective Menswear Curated by British GQ will run until mid-October.
